In the “Company Full of Energy” ranking developed by Gazeta Bankowa, OKNOPLAST appeared as one of the most dynamically growing Polish exporters. Moreover, it was included in the exclusive TOP 20 of Polish exporter companies. This prestigious prize was received during the Gala in Villa Foksal in Warsaw from the editor-in-chief Wojciech Surmacz by Mikołaj Placek, Chairman of th Board of OKNOPLAST Group.
OKNOPLAST – a Company full of Energy
The “Company Full of Energy” ranking of Gazeta Bankowa is an exclusive list of Polish companies distinguished for their exports share, product innovativeness , sales efficiency in developed markets, and the strength of their brands. Apart from the award ceremony, one of the elements of the Gala was a debate titled “Opportunities and risks for Polish exporters”. The participants, including the Chairman of OKNOPLAST and the Chairman of PKO BP, discussed the following issues: what are the elements of the product offer of Polish exporters that are crucial for entering developed foreign markets?; what is the competitive advantage of Polish exporters?; what is the burden in the expansion to foreign markets?; and what kind of support do exporters expect from the Polish state to be able to grow further? Aside from the ranking winners, the guests of the Gala included representatives of other countries’ Chambers of Commerce.
OKNOPLAST’s strong position in Europe
It was not by chance that the “Company Full of Energy” award for outstanding exports results was given to OKNOPLAST. The exports share in the company sales structure in the year 2014 was 70%, which means that OKNOPLAST was the largest Polish exporter in terms of value of the PVC windows sold. The exports value of OKNOPLAST Group is approx.15% of the entire Polish exports of PVC windows. At the time, the company is present on 10 markets: in Austria, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Italy and Hungary, and the most important foreign markets for OKNOPLAST Group are Italy, France and Germany, whereas Italy receives the largest share of our exports. The consistent and cohesive marketing contributed to the recognisability of the OKNOPLAST logo in the Italian society, which is at 25%. OKNOPLAST also puts its efforts in enhancing its sales volume in the German market, where we have 330 sales outlets, and the French market, where the number of sales outlets has increased to over 740. Our company is also getting its trading partners in the Central and Eastern European markets, where we already have 150 sales outlets.
